Shia populated area of Amerly with 30,000 residence is in danger of massacre by ISIS who has besieged this city. ISIS also cut off electricity and water since two months ago and blocked any aid to reach this population.
Amerly, a town in Northern Iraq is a home to tens of thousands of Shia Turkmen who need immediate attention since they are threatened to be killed by ISIS, if they don’t die due to hunger and thirst before that.
The UN special envoy in Baghdad, Nickolay Mladenov, last Saturday, called for immediate action to impede another massacre but no action has been taken yet.
