(Shia Rights Watch) SRW continues to express deep concern regarding the targeted Shia human rights activist in Bahrain by the authorities. The authorities in Bahrain tried many ways to prevent the Shia majority in the country from practicing their rights as citizen and prevent them from reaching the world in order to get their basic rights as Shia citizens.
The recent distraction among human rights activist was the arrest of Nabeel Rajab, human rights activist. Nabeel Rajab, the president of the Bahrain Center for Human Rights was detained at Bahrain’s international airport on his return from Lebanon. The authorities have not commented on the reasons behind the arrest.
