Shia Rights Watch expresses deep concern for the extreme repression and severe torture applied by the regime’s security forces in Bahrain against peaceful and unarmed protestors. These practices are violating and threatening the lives of citizens in ages, especially those of women and children.
According to witnesses reporting to Shia Rights Watch, security forces shot 14 year old Ibrahim Meghdad in a farm in Bilad AlGhadeem, hit him with their weapons and sticks and then led him to an unknown detention. The child was heard screaming “help me!”; yet the Interior Ministry denies any knowledge of the accident or the presence of the detained child in any of its prisons.
Witnesses also inform SRW that the detained child was already injured by internationally forbidden shotguns fired by the security forces.
Shia Rights Watch calls the Bahraini authorities to inform the destiny of the 14 year old detained child, Ibrahim Meghdad, and to allow his parents to visit him and observe his health situation as soon as possible.
Shia Rights Watch, also calls the authority to put an end to the violations of human rights in Bahrain.
